Experience You Can Rely On
HOSB Ingenieurbüro was founded in late 2025 by Benjamin Horeth in Vienna, Austria, to help companies implement GS1 Sunrise 2027, the Digital Product Passport (DPP), the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), and GS1-compliant product master data.
Since 2014, Benjamin Horeth has worked intensively on the planning, implementation, and administration of serialization, vision inspection (camera), and printing systems, as well as packaging line equipment, within the pharmaceutical industry — a sector where code quality, data exchange, and traceability have been legally mandated for years.
This decade of hands-on industry experience has taught him a clear lesson: introducing new labeling and identification technologies often brings complex technical and organizational challenges — from system integration to data quality.
This is exactly where HOSB Ingenieurbüro steps in: with practical, field-tested solutions and tailored technical consulting that help companies align their systems efficiently, in full regulatory compliance, and with long-term resilience — ready for GS1 Sunrise 2027, the Digital Product Passport, and PPWR.
Independent. Vendor-Neutral. Standards-Compliant.
As a state-certified engineering firm (“staatlich geprüftes Ingenieurbüro”), HOSB Ingenieurbüro is bound by professional obligation to represent its clients’ interests independently, free from influence by its own or third-party commercial interests. We are not affiliated with any specific manufacturer of printing or vision/camera systems. Our goal is to identify the technically and economically best solution for every individual requirement — today for GS1 Sunrise 2027, tomorrow for AI agents, the Digital Product Passport, and PPWR.
